The Process

This is a direct quote from a Tim Keller sermon (not sure which one, but go ahead and listen to all of them), and a twist on a famous sentiment from Christian author C.S. Lewis:

β€œThe load, or weight, or burden of my neighbour's glory should be laid daily on my back, a load so heavy that only humility can carry it, and the backs of the proud will be broken.”

The elements I chose to include all represent common neighborhood life. Laundry line, a fattened pigeon, perhaps some tulips left on the porch for the person grieving next door. All potential reminders to recognize and carry the eternal heft of each other in how we speak, act, and believe together.
